Suddenly, on Saturday March 27, 2021 at the age of 61. Predeceased by her husband David Balfour, her parents and two sisters. Loving mother to Natalie and Michèle (Charles). Proud grandmother (Mémé) to Zoe, Emmett, Wyatt and Miles. Further survived by her two brothers, nieces and nephews, other relatives and her friends.
She is remembered as a kind, beautiful soul who loved everyone. Her natural healing and crystal gemstones business Awakening was something she cherished deeply. She was a dedicated animal lover and supported aboriginal artists.
Memorial Service and burial will be at Beechwood Cemetery. Date to be confirmed. Donations may be made to the Native Women’s Association of Canada or Royal Ottawa Hospital.
