Our darling mother passed away peacefully, on Sunday February 22, 2015, in her 96th year after a short illness. We believe she and our father, Paul Richard Walsh, who predeceased her by 37 years, have already sat down together for a cup of tea. Beloved mother of Paul Jr. and Pam (Wayne) Calgary. Loving Grandmother to Mark (Marla) Balgonie SK, Jenny (Charles) Calgary AB, and Julie (Rich) Golden BC. Great-Grandmother to Riley, Mattie and Ellie. Special 'Gram' to Antony (Joanne) Emma and Ben, Rick, Nancy (Dave), Teri (Bill) and 'Ottawa Mother' to Meredith (John). Cherished 'Aunt Geet' to Brian (Marg) and family. Loving long-time friend of Ruth. Respected neighbour in Riverview Park for over 50 years.
Born in Saint John NB, she kept in touch with many relatives and friends from 'down east', often traveling 'home' to stay connected. Our family gives thanks to the RAH group and especially to Crystal and Myrtle for the wonderful care, support and love they showed Gram for so many years! Also, thanks to the Maplewood Retirement Community for the happy and secure environment they provided our mother in her new home. We are especially grateful for the compassionate care the Maplewood team provided our mother in her final days.

May we all be able to say, in our final days, as Gram did so often of late, "I've had a good life, and I'm ready!"
